At Wilson Wellness Solutions, we believe that the greatest way to serve others is to first pursue the highest version of yourself.
“I can help others more if I can be a better version of myself.”
That’s the foundation we’re built on. We coach growth. Physically, mentally, and spiritually. But we don’t just preach it. We live it.
Helping others rise means we rise too.
That’s why every coach here is committed to relentless self-improvement. That's the standard. We walk the path. We lead by example. And we never ask you to do what we won’t do ourselves.
Fitness is the gateway.
Through disciplined, intentional training, you learn how to show up for yourself. You build resilience. Grit. Confidence. What you build in the gym spills over into how you show up as a parent, a partner, a leader, and a human. This is about building the foundation to carry more for yourself and for others. You grow so that you can give more, serve more, and live more fully.
At Wilson Wellness Solutions, strength is just the beginning.
My name is Trevor Wilson. I'm a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. I finished my B.S. in Exercise Physiology in the Fall of 2023 at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Seeing others grow is a passion of mine. I founded Wilson Wellness Solutions to help people out of the rut I spent the first 24 years of my life in.
I grew up in Buffalo, NY. I was a chubby, quasi-athletic people pleaser. I didn't have any friends, purpose, or self-value. I played sports because my parents wanted me to. I did very many things growing up because people wanted me to. That was the life I knew. I grew into sports as I got older. It became my identity.
Athletics taught me so many things about myself that I wouldn't have learned otherwise. My football coaches, and football itself gave me a family that I chose. It taught me to play on a team. To care about something bigger than myself. Wrestling taught me how to do hard things. It gave me a very real understanding of just how resilient the human body is.
I moved to North Carolina in 2017 with my family as soon as I graduated high school. I was done with sports, and everything I believed I was ceased to happen. The transition from full time athlete to "regular" life was very difficult for me. I didn't know who I was, in an entirely new place waiting for what was next. I had a loose idea that I was "supposed" to go to college, then graduate school, get a well-paying job, retire, and then die. I settled on Pharmacy school originally because I was great at chemistry. Around the same time, I stumbled into working out again. I was fed up with how I looked, and figured looking better would give me what I was looking for. As I learned more, I found I really enjoyed training. I changed directions to pursue Physical Therapy instead.
I didn't very much love the idea of PT school, but I knew I wanted to help people. Training had given so much back to me that I was missing. Being in the gym gave me time to think, process, and grow. What I found with Physical Therapy was that many Physical Therapists get bound to the insurance and hospital system. They work post-operation patients and scrape by. That wasn't going to work for me because I wanted to help people sooner than that. If I could prevent them from having to need surgery in the first place, I wanted to do that. I settled on chiropractic school.
By the time I finished my Exercise Physiology Degree, I was working in a sports performance facility. I was training all kinds of people. Athletes, children, older adults, working adults- you name it. I worked for pennies, but knew I was on the right path. I took the infamous "Gap Year" to save some money for chiropractic school in Texas.
I moved to Dallas at the beginning of 2024, and took my coaching skillset to start training people independently. I was planning on chiropractic school at Parker University in the city, but my heart wasn't in it. It was with training. I was seeing people evolve with my guidance. For the first time in my life, I felt like I finally had purpose. I founded Wilson Wellness Solutions and never looked back. I bet everything on this business, and myself. Today, I'm privileged to be a leader in the industry and a stalwart of this craft. For as long as I breathe, I always will be.
For me, my people are my family. My clients, the friends that I now have. Without them, I would be nothing. I'm thankful everyday for the opportunity. Coaching, personal training, whatever you want to call it. It's my life's blood. For me, it's helping people grow into exactly whoever or whatever they want to be.
